A Cavalier's motto could be "How can I please you!" Sweet affectionate, playful, ready to make his master happy. He orginated from England, and considered to be on the smaller side of the spaniel family. They can average 13-18 lb., ours are averaging 14 lb. They do require coat maintence, with brushing and occasional grooming. They are the happiest with regular excerise. Very intellegent and responsive!! We have Blemhien and tri colored. We have our Cavaliers checked regularly for by our vet for health problems.
