The Silky is a terrier, in a toy body. It loves to investigate his "area" and everywhere else you allow him. He orginates from Australia and resembles a Yorkie. He is larger and sturdier than a Yorkie. The Silkies color will turn a silvery gray as he matures. Average weight is 8-11 lbs. Our male Silky "Winnie" has several champions in his pedigree. The Silky is a great active companion.
